The skincare gods that are Dermalogica are at it again with the new product releases. This time around its the Prisma Protect SPF30 , a light activated multitasking moisturiser. If you want to take good care of your skin, then SPF is a must have in your skincare routine. Luckily Dermalogica just made it 10 times easier for you to never miss popping some SPF on.

With the amount of products around that now contain exfoliating acids it's really important that you have good protection against UV damage. Using acids can make your skin more sensitive to UV exposure, of course we all want glowing skin, but you need to be protecting that lovely skin from damage you can't see. I'll be honest, I always rolled my eyes at yet another skincare step, but it's one of the most important & you don't need to be using gloopy old suncream when products like this are around!

Dermalogica's new Prisma Protect is perfect to use daily. It's formula is lightweight, non greasy & sits on the skin really well. I have been using it everyday since it arrived, I've just swapped out my old moisturiser, added this one in & it doesn't even effect how your makeup sits.
This moisturiser has a broad spectrum SPF30 which defends against UV damage, while also having bio-ferment from sage that helps maintain an even skin tone & advanced moisture magnets which provides all day hydration. Also, vegan & cruelty free! This moisturiser not only defends against UV  but also free radical damage & pollution, which is an added bonus.

The cream its self contains Zingiber Officinale Root Oil or better known as Ginger Oil, which soothes redness while also working to protect the skin from damage and ageing. Another ingredient is Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, also known as Green Tea Extract which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The moisturiser also has Intelligent Drone Technology which is activated by visible light to boost the skins natural luminosity.

Basically, it's packed full of all the good stuff that's beneficial and kind to your skin.

It's been a really easy switch over for me & have zero complaints so far (apart from the scent..I can't put my finger on why though). My skin hasn't become oily with wear, it glides on the skin easily and absorbs quickly & my skin has stayed hydrated throughout use, so of course this product is now a firm favourite.

You apply it after cleansing & toning, being fairly generous with the amount you use & should be put on at least 30 minutes before sun exposure.

Does it sounds like something you would add into your routine?
