Tea Revv | Tea 24 Advent Calendar

Wednesday 22 November 2017

I'm about to sound like the worst blogger ever but, beauty advent calendars just don't do it for me, tea on the other hand most definitely will. I had never heard of a loose leaf tea advent calendar until an email from *Tea Revv popped up in my inbox, who could say no to perfectly spiced seasonal tea? Not me!

I'm all over the Christmas themed drinks and cute take out cups while wondering around town but I can never seem to get the flavours right when I try to do it at home, I'm not a coffee drinker at all so I spend my winter days ruining hot chocolates trying to get them to resemble what I had picked up in town earlier. I have never tried seasonal tea though and I feel like I've been fully missing out for sometime now.
Also, now I'm an adult and I'm in full control of my advent calendar situation means I can have more than one! Which means I now get a Christmassy tea and chocolate every morning.

Just by reading up on the story behind Tea Revv you can tell a lot of time and thought has gone into everything they produce including a little sprinkle of humour too.

Tea Revv is a small independent tea company all about getting creative with tea. There's even directions on the back of the sachets to tell you how each tea is best served, you can even make Lattea's!  They actually do seasonal tea all year round. To help kick off this years festivities I was sent their * Tea 24 Advent Calendar which includes a selection of tea perfectly spiced and blended for the festive season. It has taken absolutely everything in me not to open them all up and try them early (although I couldn't help myself so I have tried a couple).

There's a couple in there that I can imagine being lovely all year round but they are mostly all just a cup full of Christmas spirit. I'm also a real big fan of some of the names, there's 24 different loose leaf teas to try but going by names these are a few that I can't wait to try; Chilly Willy Chai, Mulled Wine Spice, Terry's Brew and of course Snowballs. All the names are well thought out to match the blends.
Something I really love about this advent calendar is that each sachet can make two drinks, so you could be super cute and share a seasonal blend with someone every morning.

As much as a lot of thought has gone into the blends as well as each individual design, there's just one thing letting it down for me ( I hate to be that person) which is the packaging, there's no surprise behind a door each morning (I'm also that person that has dug through the entire box to see what they all were). Then again, it then allows me to be a little creative with it and make my own advent calendar, so keep your eyes peeled to see what I do over on Instagram.

Who now wants to try a Tea 24 Advent Calendar then? You can use code TEAPLEASEEMILY for 10% off during checkout and definitely let me know what you think if you pick anything up at all. They even sell all the accessories you would need to brew with!
